🪷 COMBINED HRT EXPLAINED

Combined HRT is both oestrogen and progesterone delivered in either a patch or pill form.

It will be prescribed in either cyclic or continuous format.

Cyclic involves taking oestrogen daily, and then taking progestogen for 10–14 days at the end of each cycle.

Continuous is usually recommended for women who have passed through the menopause and is when both oestrogen and progesterone are taken every day

To see if combined HRT is suitable for you, please speak to your GP
